Authentic country house, immersed in nature in Città della Pieve, Perugia - Umbria RIF CDP112 A few steps from the historic center of Città della Pieve the city of Perugino, perched on the ridge between Umbria and Tuscany there is a farmhouse bearing a date carved in stone: 1848. Not the date of any ordinary construction, but the year when a natural source of drinking water began to quench this estate, and which still today, intact, flows as a spring originating from the property. A detail that says everything about the character of this place: time does not erase here, it confirms. The farmhouse presents a facade of exposed brick with immediate authenticity, two levels of about 238 m² overall, interiors that have withstood the eighteenth century without losing their identity: exposed wooden beams, cotto tiles, generous proportions and multiple entrances that multiply living options. The location is panoramic, overlooking the Umbrian valley through large arched windows that bring light inside and widen the view to the hills. An external, characteristic loggia guards an sandstone cave natural and cool ideal as a cellar for provisions and wines, a rare charm that is hard to find elsewhere. Finishing the picture: an independent outbuilding with a mini-apartment and valley view, a laundry room in the basement, an outdoor living area with barbecue and wood-fired oven. The land of about two hectares, well maintained and cultivated with about 30 olive trees in production, surrounds the dwelling in a green and productive embrace. The property has been recently renovated and is in excellent condition, ready to welcome those who desire an authentic historic home just steps from the village life, without sacrificing silence and the countryside.
